About

KEHP, an organization of Key Elementary’s Parent-Teacher Organization, is Key Elementary School's before- and after-care program. Unlike many schools in the District of Columbia, Key’s before- and after-care is staffed and operated internally by Key Elementary’s teachers and other staff members, with additional support from the Palisades community.

Program Highlights

• Homework (and other academic) support by Key Elementary teachers
• Arts and crafts activities
• Reading
• Indoor gym time
• Outdoor free and organized play time

How to Apply

1) Submit application

2) Wait for acceptance or waitlist email

3) If accepted, submit $250 non-refundable registration fee

Tuition and Financial Aid

Before- and After-care Tuition Levels 

***There is only one before-care option. It is the same tuition for students who attend one day or five days per week.

***Parents may select 1 to 5 days for after-care.

***10 percent sibling discount available (for after-care only).

There is financial assistance available to all families who demonstrate financial need. Discounted tuition is on a sliding scale based on HUD guidelines.
