The Equity Team asks the question: How can we ensure an inclusive, safe, and equitable environment for our students, staff, and families?
WHO WE ARE
The Equity Team is an effort by Key staff members, caregivers, and other community members to explore and examine all aspects of the school community through an equity framework. The purpose is to provide perspective and guidance on school policies, curriculum, events, and engagement—just to name a few! Our goal is to ensure that Key is an inclusive, safe, and equitable environment for every person who comes through its doors.
WHAT WE DO
There are three major areas on which we focus: Community Engagement and Education, Curriculum and Instruction, and Policies and Procedures. We believe that these are the major components that need support and guidance to ensure an inclusive, safe, and equitable environment at Key.
